Why is it so hard to find purpose in life?

Welcome, you’ve come to exactly the right place to find the answer to the question, what is my purpose in life. At uuness we’ve created a process using the science of semiotics to find people’s life purpose. But let’s answer your question.

There hasn’t been a process designed to find people’s life purpose before that’s widely known!

We’re human beings, not human doings but life turns us into human doings and at some point it catches up with us!

Most of our clients feel a bit like this. They found something that they were good at and they went into that for a career or a job. It was practical. A whole string of choices came to them because they could do them. Whether you’re a lawyer, a roofer, a dentist, a corporate financier, a plumber. We kind of end up doing what we’re good at.

But often that doesn’t make us happy. One client described it like this. I feel like I’ve been a ball in a pin ball machine. I’ve bounced from things I like, to things I don’t like, without ever standing back and going, “I’m the ball, where would I actually like to go and why?”

Now you could read a book about it and there are loads out there, please e-mail us if you want a recommendation as they have different strengths. But the biggest problem is that with a book you are in an echo chamber, there’s you, the book and your thoughts. The majority of people find it easier to work through this process with someone.

Does my purpose only cover my career?

No, absolutely not. This is a mistake people make. We call it being “multi-modal” a clear purpose helps and guides you in your parenting style, your relationships, your behaviour. In short it’s your quiddity, which literally means your “youness” which is where we got uuness from.

In fact when we shape someone’s life purpose and their purpose word, we test it in the real world, across different situations.

Is it a question for God?

We’ve got strong faith and we’re fairly pragmatic about this and we work with people from any background, creed, religion or non religion.

If you are very lucky you have a life calling and you always have had. You’ve had an awakening or an experience that changed you and gave you certainty and that’s very rare and you don’t need uuness. Or maybe you want to pray and wait for an answer. Of course we respect that.

But most of us need help. You can pray for your pain to go away and that may help AND you can take pain killers that you could say God gave us or we gave ourselves. Either way, you are just being practical to take them.

Uuness is the same as that parallel. Our process does not invoke God but we’re not saying he or she or they don’t have a hand in it all!
